Nominations open for Kittitas County Public Health Champions

KITTITAS COUNTY, Wash.-Nominations are now open for the 10th Annual Kittitas County Public Health Champion.

Any individual, group, or organization that has made a significant contribution to the health of Kittitas County is eligible to apply for the award, sponsored by the Kittitas County Board of Health Advisory Committee.

Nominations may be submitted online or at the Kittitas County Public Health Department. Nominations can also be mailed to KCPHD at 507 N. Nanum St., Suite 102 in Ellensburg, but should be sent by April 26.

The person or organization named Kittitas County Public Health Champion will be notified by May 17 and will be presented a $500 award for current or future projects that contribute to the health of Kittitas County at the June 20 Board of Health meeting, according to a KCPHD press release on the award.
