RICHLAND, Wash.-Two suspects were detained and the Coast Guard is investigating after ten to 12 individuals boarded the "American Jazz" cruise ship docked at Howard Amon Park.

Richland Police responded to the park around 9 p.m. on April 28 after the juveniles and young adults unlawfully boarded the boat.

According to an RPD social media post, the group of ten or twelve left the boat after a brief interaction with the crew and tried to disappear into a large crowd in the park.

A juvenile suspect was turned over to their mother and an adult suspect was booked into the Benton County Jail on suspicion of trespassing and making false statements according to RPD.
