Ready or not, here comes Summer (for a few days). The weather pattern has changed from cool and cloudy to clear and hot. We will likely break records this weekend for high temperatures.
Today - Most everyone will be in the 80's with plenty of sunshine. The highest temperatures will be near the Tri-Cities area, where we will reach the upper 80's. The Yakima Valley and Central Oregon areas will be in the mid 80's.
Tomorrow - Temperatures will jump to the 90's with clear skies. The Tri-Cities forecasted temperature is 95. The record is 93, set back in 2006 for May 16th.
Saturday - This will be the hottest day of the week. Most everyone will be flirting with record heat. Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 90's. There is a slight chance in seeing triple digits.
Starting Monday we will slowly cool back down into the 80's and eventually the 70's.
Suggested items to keep handy the next few days:
Sunscreen
Sunglasses
