SELAH, Wash. - Multiple fire crews responded to a house fire on the 3000 block of Selah Loop Road on Sun., May 5.

According to a social media post from the Yakima Training Center, whose firefighters assisted in the call, the home was burning when crews arrived. The Selah Fire Department was the first to arrive at 10:19 a.m.

SFD Deputy Fire Chief Scott Willis said the house was fully engulfed in flames along with multiple vehicles. Crews worked on the fire into the afternoon.

The Yakima Fire Department, Yakima County Fire District #4, Gleed Fire Department, East Valley Fire Department and firefighters from the Yakima Training Center all assisted SFD in the call.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Yakima County Fire Marshal's Office and the house was destroyed, according to Willis. No one was injured in the fire.
